A Successful Brazilian Advertiser; José Henrique Borghi

The founder of Mullen Lowe agency is a very well known advertiser in Brazil named, José Henrique Borghi. This agency was initially named the Borghi Lowe Agency, but the name was changed later on. Its founder, Mr. Borghi is considered one of the most famous and leading advertisers in Brazil today. People still talk about the amazing campaigns Mr. Borghi created.

Some of these great campaigns include the Mammals of Parmalat. Kids were dressed up and acted like stuffed animals in this one. They sang some great jingles. Some of these jingles included the likes of “It is the Love” by the popular Zezé di Camargo and Luciano and Sazón as well. These are some of the jingles that people still remember even today.

José Henrique Borghi was always confused about his career. He wasn’t sure what to follow regarding his career. His sister took him to a theater named, Castro Neves Theater to see a performance when he was in high school. Mr. Borghi quickly developed interest and decided to pick this as a career. The performance he saw had won awards in Cannes. That day, young José Henrique Borghi decided that he will join this field, but nobody knew that he would one day win the Cannes himself.

Mr. José Henrique Borghi comes from a place called, Presidente Prudente. He studied Advertising and Propaganda at the PUC Campinas. He started his professional career in the year 1989 with Standart Ogilvy. He joined several agencies over the course of his career. Agencies such as DM9 / DDB, FCB, Talent and Leo Burnett are a few to name that Mr. Borghi worked for. He even started own agency with partner and named it BorghiErh.
